Storyline

My name is Melissa "Emmy" Cecilia. Yes, I prefer to be called Emmy but you can use either my proper name or my nickname; I respond to both. ;) I'm a cradle Catholic who opened this blog to give people an inside look at my journey back to the faith, after years of not attending Mass and slowly straying from the Church. I try to be as candid as possible without being a total open-book (I value privacy in certain areas of my life).

I Could Write a Book

I'm a freelance writer and published author. My debut novel, Will and Lina: When Two Worlds Collide, was released on May 1st, 2014. The sequel, Will and Lina: London Calling, was released on December 22nd, 2014. Smoke and Fire, the first non-Will and Lina related work, was released on August 27, 2019. A fourth novel has a late Spring 2022 tentative release date. I'm a freelance writer who works for mostly Catholic publications. I Know My ABCs

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the CINO university (which shall remain nameless) and have completed part of a Master of Arts in Biblical Theology at John Paul the Great Catholic University and a near-equivalent of a second Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University.
